Lakeview Site - 18281 Kadrmas Road, Lakeview, OR 97630 Located in the high country range of the Warner Mountains, Lakeview, Oregon provides the perfect combination of proximity to feedstock, transportation and community support for our first Red Rock Biofuels project.
This southeastern area of Oregon offers an abundant wood basket to draw from and has access to major highway, rail and utilities and is located in the heart of the low carbon fuel markets in the US and Canada.
Lakeview Project Summary: RRB’s first project in Lakeview, Oregon is shovel-ready.
Project: Convert 136,000 tons of waste woody biomass into 15.1 million gallons/year of renewable fuels.
Site: Lakeview, OR is ideally situated in large wood basket, next to State Highway 395 and adjacent to short line rail feeding the UP mainline.
Process Design: World class - Incorporates three known technologies – gasification, Fischer- Tropsch, and hydroprocessing. Yields ASTM-approved fuels currently in use globally.
Fuel Offtakes: World class offtake partners.
Funding Sources: Project funded by a combination of bonds and equity.
Strong Management Team: Track record of delivering projects under budget, ahead of schedule, and producing over nameplate capacity. Developed/financed/built 8 renewable fuel plants; >$650 million in construction value; >325 million gal/yr.

Employment Opportunities: Red Rock Biofuels, in conjunction with WorkSource Klamath and Klamath Community College, will be hosting a couple of job fairs to fill positions in areas such as Operations, Maintenance, Logistics, Accounting, EHS and Lab. Managers: Operations Manager– The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operation of the refinery and is instrumental in establishing and promoting a culture focused on safe, environmentally compliant, reliable, efficient operations. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager. This role evaluates plant performance, implements recommendations for reliability improvements and cost optimization, and champions initiatives in support of long-term sustainable profitability of the refinery. EHS Manager – Responsible for all aspects of environmental, health and safety activities related to plan operation and compliance. Monitors facility operational activities to ensure compliance to applicable industry standards and policies. Ensures effective communication and coordinating between plant operations and EH&S department. This position will provide technical support, leadership and oversight for the facility's EH&S operation and compliance including principles of accident prevention, root cause analysis, loss control, and risk identification to safety programs. Process Operator(16) - The Process Operator is responsible for all facets of production while ensuring a safe and well- kept working environment. This position ultimately requires the ability to correctly and safely operate all plant equipment and utility systems as well monitoring all process operating parameters. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager. Accounting Clerk(2) - The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for assisting the Site Accounting Manager and corporate accounting staff in all areas relating to financial and operational reporting using our accounting system (Microsoft Dynamics GP/Intellego). This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of a variety of accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll and other areas. This position will also assist with office management and the general logistics of the administration building including ensuring office supplies are available. Lab Tech (1) - The laboratory technician is responsible for ensuring the integrity of our product throughout the manufacturing process. This position will require the ability to utilize standardized techniques and operating procedures in order to conduct and analyze tests on sensitive samples. This position reports directly to the Lab Manager. Logistics Operator(4) – The Logistics Operator is responsible for managing the woodpile along with the truck and rail loading and offloading while ensuring a safe and well-kept working environment. This position will be required to regularly operate heavy equipment including a front-end loader and railcar mover. This position reports directly to the Logistics Manager. Utility Operator (8) - The Utility Operator is responsible for all facets of process utility systems including water treatment, electricity generation and plant air systems, while ensuring a safe and well-kept working environment. This position ultimately requires the ability to correctly and safely operate all plant utility systems as well monitoring all utility operating parameters. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager. Maintenance Tech (4) – The Maintenance Technician maintains, troubleshoots, repairs and installs various types of equipment throughout the plant, ensuring maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager. Electrician(1) – The Electrician maintains, troubleshoots, repairs and installs various types of equipment relating to the electrical and instrumentation systems throughout the plant, ensuring maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager. Custodian (1) - The Custodian maintains plant cleanliness throughout various areas in the plant including, but not limited to the administrative areas, lab, bathrooms/breakroom, grounds, and control room. Although cleanliness will be a priority to everyone in the plant, this position will be responsible for the trash, floors and other general cleaning duties. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager. EHS Tech (1) – The EH&S Tech is responsible for assisting the EH&S Manager in maintaining environmental, health and safety programs related to plan operation and compliance.
